Who is Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Gourmand?

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Gourmand is a regional association focused on the economic development and promotion of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes agri-food industry in France and abroad.

Its aim is to create value, quality and innovation for the region’s producers and supply chains, taking into account economic, environmental and social issues. The association also supports regional economic players in their development.

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Gourmand’s main objectives are to promote products, territories, heritage, practices, know-how, trades, research and development, as well as broader innovation and organizational performance.

Through the following missions:

  • Promoting regional businesses and products to buyers (professionals and consumers) through the MA RÉGION, SES TERROIRS regional initiative.
  • Organizing meetings between producers, industries, craftspeople and consumers: markets and promotional events.
  • Rewarding the excellence of local know-how
  • Supporting regional companies at trade shows
  • Organization of meetings between buyers and suppliers to promote regional sourcing: business meetings, catalogs, etc.
  • Mobilize food companies in regional food projects: explore the obstacles and levers to mobilizing companies; experiment with a support approach to mobilizing companies in regional food projects.
  • Raise the profile of our products and expertise by representing the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and supporting companies on the international stage.
